What can you advice a single mom like me with regards to finances and love life?

Being a Mom right now has to be first. Taking care of your finances is part of that. Do everything you can to become as educated as you can. No matter what happens in the future in terms of finding a partner, you'll still want to know that you can take care of yourself. If you've already finished college, seek the advice of a career counselor. Get the best job with the best long-term benefits (including retirement) that you can get.





Have goals (short-term and long-term) and write them down. Statistics say that people that write down their goals are more likely to achieve them. It's also important to review them and update them.





Don't be afraid to have big goals. There's no reason you can't own a car, a home, and anything else that you want. Being indpendent and capable is an important lesson to teach your children.





Now, for the love life. You don't have to rush this. Let's get back to that writing things down. Decide what is important to you in a partner. What do you need, what do you want? Write it down. Have a clear idea of what you're looking for. It's a lot easier to find when you know what it is. Don't settle for less than you deserve just to have something.





I know it's hard to be alone but it's better than being in the wrong relationship every day of the week. Enjoy today knowing that you have a plan for your life. You're more likely to stumble on just the right thing when you're not working too hard to find it.

Don't live above your means and budget and love life isn't a priority. You make it a priority and you put your child in danger; simply because it makes you vulnerable to child predators.What can you advice a single mom like me with regards to finances and love life?
Well Mom, first things first. And being a Mom is the winner. As far as love life, don't make that a priority. And I guess the biggie is stay focused.

well, here is my advice, because it has worked for me... if you teach the kids that money is not important, eventually some man will come along who will believe money is not important, either... don't settle for less than what you and the kids need/deserve in the way of values! good luck! =)
concentrate first on getting finances in order then when your ready to date make sure that you mention your child and let them know your child comes first if they still want to go out try to get to know them for a while before introducing them to your child you don't want your child to get attached to someone then find out you really don't like them so make sure of what you want first. put yourself and your child above all else and things will work out for you
