Advice for school/life?

What do you do... when you really can't think of any topic in college/uni that your interested in. And you can't think of a career that you would be amazing in??Advice for school/life?
Start in a general social science, arts or business where you can sample the subjects you might like and choose your specialization later.Advice for school/life?
I agree that it is a good idea to at least start in an area that you have some interest in and then change to a different major if life draws you that way. I think that has a bit more direction to it than just starting out ';undeclared'; or something along those lines. I work at Colorado State University and the students I know that wait until the last minute to pick something usually have the hardest time staying motivated to make it through. At least having your initial major as a ';back-up plan'; might work out for you in the future. Sometimes it just takes a couple courses in an area for you to realize you truly love the subject matter. If you're already on campus, it might be a good idea for you to head to a career counselor/academic advisor too. They are trained to deal with these kinds of things and would be more than willing to sit down and discuss options with you!
Amazing in a career? No, think of something that is interesting to you. Then as many people do change your major every year! It happens all the the time, you mature and decide on a subject that interests you, or a subject that you feel is a way too make money.................lol.
You've gotten good answers so far. To them, I would add one suggestion: That you try doing volunteer work somewhere, perhaps taking a series of volunteer placements. Some universities will give academic credit for these. Very likely something will catch your imagination and you will be able to connect your practical work with an academic program.
