I may be able to help, but I do not know the situation. so I cannot make any promises. So' it really depends on what this is about.I need advice anyone who knows alot about relationships and life in general...?
You can add more so what's the problem?

Advice needed on how to live a life that is too much pain to live?

I am 24 yr old man who is struggling to live life at the moment. I have faced numerous obstacles and challenges in my life but none greater than severe depression and lust problem.

Why couldn't I resist or overcome them just like I did against drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex? That is beyond me to answer. All I know is I tried my best and worked hard to become a good person and the best person I can be. But still, I couldn't overcome severe depression and lust problem.

I have been living with those 2 problems for the past 8 years on daily basis. And to put it bluntly, I am just sick and tired of living with them. I am tired of being bothered by them, my life being robbed of happiness and enjoyment no matter how hard I try.

I tried nightly praying, writing daily journals, posting on support board, asking for advice, reading self-help book, getting new hobbies.

What more can I possibly try? Why does it have to be me who endures this?Advice needed on how to live a life that is too much pain to live?
Wow, that's a tough one. Have you spoken to a professional? You might want to do that, and maybe get some meds to get you over the toughest part of it. Good luck to you.Advice needed on how to live a life that is too much pain to live?
You are obviously in a lot of pain. Please get professional help. There really are medications that can help. You do NOT have to feel this way. Please believe that things can get better. Call the closest teaching hospital and get a referal to a psychopharmacologist. These people specialize in treating psychiatric illnesses with medication. Don't give up. Help is out there.

Good luck!
It all starts with a personal relationship with Jesus. He ';was tempted at all points'; like us, but never sinned. to talk to some one, call 1-888-NEED-HIM
What you need is for Jesus to come into your heart, and take away your pains. You are in a depression, and I have been there. I wanted to kill myself and end it all. But I kept praying and praying. It took years and after I let Him take control of my life, I felt I had a purpose in my life, not so much for my own purpose, but His purpose. God our Father loves you and has so much planned for you. He wants to Bless you, you just have to let Him.

If you don't have a Bible get one, visit a church (no particular religion)that makes you feel the presence of God, and do not give up as that is what Satan wants you to do.
Sounds like you could use some professional help. Have you seen a psychiatrist? It doesn't sound like just altering routines or anything like that is going to help.

Hope things work out.
If you're pissing and moaning in a public forum, you need professional help, medication, or just end it all.
I just want you to know that I know someone who had similar problems and there is a way to defeat it. I don't know if you are a born again Christian, but if not you have to repent and ask God to forgive you and save you. Once you have been born again, the way I believe you can break any strong hold is through prayer and fasting, I have personally seen many awful things broken off of myself and my family by PRAYER AND FASTING.

There is a scripture that says about a particular problem, this kind goes out not but by prayer and FASTING. IT WORKS, YOU CAN START OUT SLOW, AND GROW FROM THERE.

I PROMISE IT DOES WORK, It has worked for me to many times to count. Rebellion, lust, generational curses, oppression, which is another form of depression and most likely where depression comes from. God will help you don't give up. If it wasn't for fasting Satan would have defeated me long ago.
Think of this... Jesus, a perfect being, livbed died and rose again for you. Before that He went through everythingg we do. He was 100% human and 100% percent God. Be awful big waste to throw away your life when He died for you to live forever. Nobody is perfect, I aint that old, I havent been through any of that but i can say that your reward in heaven will be that much greater if you TRY at least to make it through. God forgives everything. No matter what you do, as long as you are saved, you go to heaven. it is a lot better than Hell even if your neighbor's palace is bigger than yours.

Everyone hates you??? I dont and the most important thing is that God doesnt either. Perservere and He WILL help you.
Grace unto you, and peace,

from God our Father and the Lord Jesus-%26gt;Christ.

Ever heard the song: I fought the law and the law won? Kinda sums up your l-o-n-g-suffering gospel of sorrows.

If the law is both the source of sin and the ';strength'; of sin's death sting, the ';strong man'; of the house of sin and death, well then, perhaps it reasons law is the problem, not the solution.

Solution is Christ: the end of the law. Simply flush all this law (torment) you been mouthing, then grace will be sufficient. For adding law to grace is sufficient makes grace ';no more grace';.

Consider JC went about healing all ';oppressed of the devil(law)';. Depression is another term for oppression, which the law does.

You're another victim, of evil(law) concupiscence:

(an ungovernorable desire to do what's forbidden)

http://www.godshew.org/Concupiscence.htm

Law is so tormenting it will demand dos and don'ts,

then hinder you from doing what you would do,

and hinger you from not doing what you wouldn't,

and then torment you with guilt is not from God.

God did ';not'; impute their trespasses to them.

You probably got this way by going to churches.

Biblical Advice is: ';come out from among them';.

As in Adam(them: Gen 5) all die = extinction.

Even so in Christ(us) shall all live = salvation.

By law: all perish. But by grace: none perish.

Pst - the end, written in the Bible, is grace us.

1John 4 notes two spirits to try (to test drive).

You've test driven one and found it tormenting.

Why not also test drive the God of all comfort.

I'm Daniel, avail at: approved@godshew.org

I was born exact moment Israel was in 1948.

I've been to the end, came back for you.

As the ';you all'; thereof begins with ';you';.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
There was a time in my life when I wanted to end it. I had it all planned out I would go to an underpass where no one was, call the police from a cell phone and let them know where I was, so no one would find me except the police, then I would shoot myself in the head. Seemed like the thing to do. Well, I was wrong. Over time the depression got better, and now I am thankful I didn't end it. I'm not sure about the lust your having, as you didn't go into details, but we humans have the ability to desensitize those feelings and become comfortable with them, no matter how strange they seem now. Kind of like guys using pornography. With time, they no longer feel guilty and it seems normal. The depression could be caused by any number of things, like a potassium deficiency was causing mine. Why don't you give it some time and I guarantee you it will get better.
I've heard you try eveything but abandon yourself to God's will. I'm not saying that you're supposed to live with this, but seriously, this will take spiritual guidance, it's going to take repentance and receiving God's grace. It's going to take real live and in person support, not posting.
Elaborate on the 'lust problem'... are you addicted to porn or something???

Severe, long-term depression is a chemical imbalance, you will need medication to correct it.

I've been depressed too... but ending your life is not only NOT the answer, it's cowardly.

DON'T GIVE UP!
Lust generally isn't a problem. That's an emotion most people have. As far as your depression is concerned, you should see a professional. They might be able to help you get over your depression.
Have you consulted a physician? sounds to me like it might be a physical problem--maybe even resulting from drugs you are currently taking.
Get to know the person that God created, meaning the spirit that dwells inside you. When we think of only our selves, we only want to satisfy our flesh. When we realize that the spirit recognition is more important the the flesh, we learn to control our desire of the flesh through the spirit. This might not be attain through biblical knowledge, but getting to know who you are, besides your flesh.
They are right, you do need more help that you can get here in this forum. (Even tho we may all care.)

Your issues are not unique, realizing that may be helpful. You need structure to occupy your mind so your time to muse about your misery is very limited. I feel for you, but I know to end your misery will take your own choice. It is you who must recognize your strength and take control. It is possible, you don't need drugs, you don't really need counseling if you are strong enough. You just need to nurture your own strength.

Any young man has the obsession of lust. So what? Watch porns and beat off, then go out among people and be a relaxed happy guy knowing you are truly no different from your peers.
Everybody endures the same things at different times.

Jesus dealt with lust - he was a human man, wasn't He?

And, don't you think, as a man, He was a bit depressed, thinking about dying for a bunch of ungrateful, hateful heathens?

You said you ';tried nightly praying.'; First, I assume you were praying to God? Second, why did you stop?

Just because we don't get the answers we want, WHEN we want them, doesn't mean we stop talking to Him. ';You're not doing what I want You to do, so I'm not talking to You anymore...';

Have you sought professional counseling? For either the depression or the lust...

I'm not certified, but I'd say the lust issue probably has a great deal to do with the depression.

These aren't vices, like drugs, etc. They're emotional issues. They can't just be turned off - you can't just throw them in the trash, saying, ';No more.';

There's lots of options available....
Hug. Wish I could help.
You appear to see what you have given up as some sort of punishment for you alone and those things you have not been unable to overcome as a personal judgment against you. Understand this: you are not being punished. If you feel the struggle is becoming too difficult, ask for help from God. That's not an easy thing to do. The way I did it was to keep reading the Bible from front cover to back and then praying that God would take some of the burden from me. God does still perform miracles today... I am one. The choice is yours. People will tell you answers don't come, but I am proof that they do. There is help and it is available to you. Ask for it with a real desire to receive it... spiritually and psychologically.
This can't be done on Yahoo Answers, you need a good close friend that will take you serious and help you through this..
Everyone has his or her own demons. This is a personal battle, not to be blunt Buddy, but you either beat the bull or the bull beats you. Discipline is the key, maybe prayer is not what you need. Maybe you need in site into your self, self examination. A Buddhist monk may be able to help you with this, through an intellectual understanding about your self and the way of the world. Try and look at the world from a different perspective, and not think of your self as a failure, maybe the only problem is not understanding who you really are. Religion can be harmful in cases like this, sort of like treating the symptoms and not treating the cause.

  • Anybody been a teen mother and has some advice on how it affected your life after the birth of your child?

I am a teen mother. I am 17 and my daughter is 6 months old. Yes, it is hard. It has effected my life in different ways. Luckily for me I graduated high school last year while i was 7 months pregnant. And i am in college now for my bachelors degree in criminal justice. I want to be a juvenile probation officer. But my daughter is very demanding. She doesn't sleep through the night yet (we are working on it). It is so hard sometimes. But at the end of the day i look at my daughter and I think that it is all worth it. I don't have time to myself anymore. My boyfriend and I don't really have time for each other. Some times it is frustrating when she wont do what i need or want her to do. So yes, it is hard and a life changing experience. Just keep a positive attitude and when she cries and you are getting frustrated just remember that she is a baby and she doesn't understand . You can put him or her down or give them to someone else for a second and go take a breather. Just remember that they are only a baby once so embrace it now.Anybody been a teen mother and has some advice on how it affected your life after the birth of your child?
I got married when i was 17 years old, and we became pregnant when i was 18 years old. At the time, i was a very responsible person. I had finished high school, and had a full time job. The man that i married was a few years older than me and also had a job.

While i was pregnant, i had plans to go to college. But things changed once our first son was born. Our marriaeg started to become more stressful. We were young parents. We ended up having to find job that worked opposite hours so one of us could be home with the baby, at least until we could afford day care. By working opposite hours, we hardly ever had time as a husband and wife, and this hurt our relationship alot.

Also, all my friends who didnt have children slowly stopped being my firends. Because i was a mother and they wernt, we had less in common, and not much time to spend together. I had to learn to make new friends, like other mothers.

It was hard, because everything changed. We planned on having a baby, and knew things would change, but we had no idea how much it would change our lives. But, we have learned to deal with it in a positive way. Its all how you look at it.Anybody been a teen mother and has some advice on how it affected your life after the birth of your child?
Me my sister had her baby when she was i think 15 or 16. She has to work a lot to buy everything. She also never has the time to do anything. She always has to be with her baby all the time. Sometimes she gets so angry because the baby will be bad and not listen to her or won't stop being bad. But my sister spoils her she thinks that she has to give her everything the baby ask like she will buy her anything. And she lives with us and my dad was pretty pissed off when he found out that she was goin to have a bae so sometimes hes really mean to the babe and my sister now shes 19 and the baby is 3

Bon JOvi dude u know it all!!)
    Think positively.
    MAKE OTHERS HAPPY
    Bored?

Start breaking taboos. Most of them are useless anyway...

Life has no consequences, and supposed consequences within this life are only as important as you personally consider them to be (and that is quite controllable, with the right willpower).

The first thing to put aside if you really want to get an experience and do away with boredom...... is any cares for what random people think of you.

Try dressing up as a clown or mime... and dance about in the street trying to amuse people... not for money, but just for its own sake. If you don't feel like dancing then you could always just go about your regular routine in a clown costume or somesuch. I always find it endlessly amusing to get strange looks from people, and the occasional grin...

For added bonus points... sit on a bench somewhere quite busy.... bide your time for a while... and then suddenly scream out ';BUTTPLUG!'; at the top of your voice. Thats another one that is bound to be amusing... albeit in a rather awkward way. Consider it a challenge against your own nerve.

If you want to really turn it up a few notches though, try blurting out a racial slur really loudly in the street at nobody in particular... and count the looks of disgust with a grin. Just remember how pathetically programmed the people around you are by society, and freedom from those restrictions can make you feel better inside. And just remember if you yell out ';n!gger!'; and get attacked by a gang of angry folks-of-african-descent... Lao Tsu taught: ';Prize calamities as your own body.'; ... That which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, and death itself isn't such a bad thing either.

Fear of being outcast is just one limitation to get rid of. A far more important one is fear of death. I sometimes dance in the road for fun, though rarely for long since there are certain legal issues to be aware of, and I don't like to hold up traffic. Playing literal ';frogger'; with cars however can give quite a rush... at least for a city guy like me. In other places, climbing without safety equipment is another fun thing... though I'm talking more about trees and small cliff-faces rather than mountains. You're not going for long challenges so much as brief gratification here, and increasing the duration exponentially increases the probability of failure (which, while not something to fear, isn't exactly fun unless you're totally attuned to such things).

Aside from that... just use your imagination.

There are vast amounts of potential satisfaction to be derived from sources most normal people wouldn't even consider. Its all fine and well to find it ';fun'; to socialise in normal ways, but thats so painfully mundane, and only serves to further constrain you within the system.
happy means to be content with wat u r having..u become bore as u see others and feel that u r devoid of something tat they r getting...just try 2 find wat u hav ,,tat they dont....just think bout urself for sometime....love ur job ,and u wil find many new and interesting things r coming out of it...so be happy
Try to help others. Listen to the sorrows of the desparate people / friends. Show love to the needy.

And most important - do not expect any return on doing the above. Do that with full heart content.

Set a goal that you help someone each day. All great people have dedicated most of their time to help others and love people. Follow their way. You will find many things to do and your life will be contended.
I have answer you. Read. Watch. Think. Get interest. Hobby. Life is feast. Just get outside self.

Hi Friend, the answer is in your question only. To be happy dont feel bore always try to smile. If you smile always all the world is your friend. Dont think for anything which is happening near to you. Just Keep smiling.( :-
I love Deepak's answer. Find something you love to do and do it. If you feel there's nothing you love to do, make yourself go out and do some things you've never done before. Be peaceful and smile at people you don't know. Cheer someone up. Visiting sick children or the elderly may give you a sense of meaning. Good luck to you.
TRY TO DO SOMETHING YOU LIKE OR EAT SOMETHING YOU LIKE. PERHAPS IT COULD MAKE YOU BETTER
I was informed that my daily Bible-Torah reading was called positive re enforcement. Even Lamentation's is food for thought. My birth date is 1956. my medical records state I was exposed to TB 1952? Do not sweat other peoples small errors. Or determine to be an optimism and do not sweat anything. Sufficient for the day is the small stuff for that day. You can not change yesterday or tomorrow.Yesterday is gone and tomorrow ain't here yet. Live the moment and enjoy now that is all we are promised!
I think you are the one that needs to make it exciting... you need to always having something to do, go do an extreme sport or soemthing go on a blind date do something you normally wouldnt do and go crazy to make your life more exciting... your the only one that can make yourself happy and your life exciting.

My life is over...need some advice

well I am 19 and have been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He is the only person i have dated or had sex with or anything like that.

Now I am pregnant and we are going to keep it. I love my boyfriend a lot but now I am starting to freak out. By me having this baby I would move in with him and I feel like my life is over!

I knew I would want to be with him but before that happened I always kinda wanted to be single and live my life a little. Now I do not have a chance to do that and I am freaking out.

Please helpppp...am I crazy to feel like Im going to be missing out on a lot of my life with not dating or having sex with anyone else? Or experiencing life in general? My life is over...need some advice
My daughter is kinda going thru the same thing and so did I. She is 17 and just had a baby, lives with her 19 year old bf. She has dedicated her life to raising this baby and also takes care of his 2 yr old when she is there. They have 50-50 custody. I did the same thing, only I was older. I dedicated my life to my kids and now I'm having the time of my life. There will be plenty of time for whooping it up later. I know 40 sounds waaay old to you but really it isn't. Freaking out is perfectly normal!!!! All new moms do. Just relax, mentally prepare, and hopefully you have a good support system (ppl to vent/talk to) There will be plenty of life left to live later. My life is over...need some advice
Well a life is growing inside of you, I think is normal to feel like that. However, you life is not over most women look more mature and interesting after having their first baby.Furthermore, a baby is a blessing wait till he/she give you a smile you won't trade that for nothing in the wold.
You are having hormonal freakouts... this is so normal. It's also normal to wonder about ';what ifs'; when you make a major life change and a baby is such a thing.

If you didn't want to be ';tied down'; you probably should have prevented the pregnancy instead of having issues about it now.
If you were my daughter, I would tell you to turn to God for the only answer...No matter what, He did give you that life you are carrying,,,,

There are many organizations that can help you, Christian or Jewish, or whatever...ask one of them to direct you to the place you will be comfortable with...

Your life is by no means over, there is plenty of life to enjoy... I had two girls in your situation, and they are doing well... %26amp; in their 50's plus, now.i could be your grandma... if you have one, go talk to her...

    God bless......
Ok, for one your life is not over.. it's just beginning a new chapter... and two why did you have sex (or at least not use an arsenal of birth control) if you even had a thought in your mind that you might maybe want to date other people when you are older?

Now is your chance, if you love your boyfriend and he loves you and you both love this new child you are bringing into the world, then you really aren't missing out on anything... you are just going about your major life events in a mixed up order.

You two now have the chance to work hard to help your new little one to have the best life you two can possible give them. Than in and of itself is hard work but very rewarding and joyous.

You can still experience life, just maybe a little differently than you would have thought 6 months ago...
well, the fact that you said ';and we are going to keep it'; suggests that the baby wasn't planned, so perhaps you should have thought about the rest of your life before getting pregnant. no disrespect or anything.. at least you are in love with your boyfriend and your boyfriend is sticking around. it could be worse..you could be on your own and have no one to support you. so your life isn't over in that sense. if you were on your own, it would be much worse. you will be able to experience life in general if you really want to..it's up to you whether you date or have sex with anyone else though. splitting up with your boyfriend is going to be hard on your child. maybe you could talk to someone about this and get their thoughts on it..maybe a family member or a friend. perhaps you're just thinking the worst, because you're depressed or something. things might work out ok once the baby's born. just because you have only been with one person, doesn't mean your relationship has to be boring. good luck.
Please Please Please take this advice.

I am 20 (as of 3 weeks ago).

I am not pregnant, but a lot of my friends our age are. They weren't raised in a Southern Baptist church like me but are getting married to save face. Look, I have the church behind me as a reason to save face... but I told my mom and dad that if it EVER happened... I'm not getting married.

You should be honest and fair to yourself. You only have one life. You don't need to get married out of convenience or because it seems like you should due to the pregnancy.

As another woman, I would repect you for staying single and being a good mom more than getting married because you got pregnant.

If you are meant to marry the father, you will... but let it happen as if you two weren't parents.

Please advice for my Married life and help me live a better life with my hubby?

married for nine months now.Ours is love marriege.we ran away from home got married but no place to live choosed brides fathers home to stay and still in same place all rent and bills are payed by father. Mostly borrowed money from my father only and father gave reception party also.We had no money beginning of marriage. myself and hubby goes to work 9 to 6pm.I earn 2,000 and my hubby 4,000.Like every wife i am not dependent on my hubby but only to help me reach my work and back. His money is mostly spent buying things and returning dues from others. We live very luxurious life, car and eating habits. My husbands family never cared for us anyways but when struggling marriage came to a stand still i found my hubby maintening good relations with his family. He hides a lot from me and wants me to trust him.Even his friends back bited him but he is good to eveyone and fights with me if i argue.he plays a good character with my family and blames me daily and says he is not a dog..!Please advice for my Married life and help me live a better life with my hubby?
Treat your husband as you want to be treated. Be kind, caring, sharing, giving, selfless, tolerant, patient, understanding, have unconditional love, be slow to anger and quick to forgive. Please advice for my Married life and help me live a better life with my hubby?
You should talk to him and tell him that him hiding tings from you is really upsetting you. If you can't talk to each other like adults then there is something wrong with you marriage. Don't start the conversation by shouting or critisising him.

Remain calm and be clear on what you want to get out of the conversation before going in. (1) I have linked a guide to assertiveness below. Remember to not be passive, but also to avoid being aggressive.

I see that your sense of independence is important to you and that you seem to be happy with your current position in life. Really sit back and ask yourself what you like and what you don't like about how you life is going. Imagine proactive way in which you can address the problems in your life.

You seem somewhat conflicted about what you truly believe about your husband. Just because his friends see a different side of him doesn't mean it's right- doesn't mean it's wrong either. What's important is how he treats you.

If he blames you for a situation clearly ask him to explain himself, use assertiveness. Don't act bitchy or make smart comments. A marriage requires both people to love and respect one another, by playing the victim or attacking your partner you only end up hurting both of you equally.
Its difficult for you to lead a happy life as your husband never wants to compromise with things, and simultaneously he is playing 2 roles. He never wants to live without his family and simultaneously he wants you to belive him. I dont think your husband is trustworthy. He can anytime ditch you as he his more attached to his family than you and he hides manythings from you. So i would prefer you not to go in for planning of children for some more time and preferably try to make him fully yours.once you are burderned with children it would be very difficult for you and you would be emotionally bound in many ways.Rest God is Great.
Not really much info here. Starting out the way you did is not the best way, but if you truely love one another it will work, WITH WORK! Marriage is not the end, it is the begining of alot of daily work, to start with both of you should be in counseling, better late than never, you apparently have the funds for it, so what is keeping you? If you are thinking of him and his needs and he is doing the same for you, you both would be fine. Go to counseling, tell him, either that or you legally seperate, unless you want to continue this way. That is up to you. You both need to go.
I say that you and your husband needs to be independent and save some money and buy a house and be happy. point blank.
In my opnion, you both make way too much money to be mooching of of your Dad. If your husband was any kind of man, he wouldn't dream of it. Another thing, if your husband had any respect for you as his wife, he would back you up 100%. Maybe it's time you told him that.
Briefly speaking; we need to ensure that all our work and actions and performances help us; with the seven marriage vows

    A) To gain those things in life which are not only important to live life but which would also be able to drive and motivate all alike including the self to build happiness in the life of self.

    B) To strenghten and firmly resolve the nature of self to drive the self to work hard for empowering the intellectual, mental and spiritual powers of self in self .

    C) To aim at achieving prosperity; but strictly in the ways, styles, images and identities of the qualities and abilities of goodness only and nothing else.

    D) To learn and practise to seek, know, adopt, use and apply the abilities of love, respect and honour only and only for understanding people places and things outside.

E ) To learn and practise to seek, know, adopt, use and apply the confidence of self for increasing and improving the knowledge of self and for establishing relationships of happiness and mutual co operations and coordinations only.

    F) To learn and practise to seek, know, adopt, use, and apply knowledge of self for building the healthiness of nature in the nature of self ; the goodness of nature in the charecter of self ; and the fearlessness of nature in the mind, heart and consciousness of self ; and for enabling and empowering the self with them and the actions and activities of them only for performing actions of and for fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of self .

    G) To learn and practise to seek, know, adopt, use and apply knowledge of self for bonding the self with faith only and for ensuring that the committments, devotions, dedications of self are mutual; towards the other partner through out the life of self; as well as in other bondages of self with the world outside.
    Madam,

Be prepared for harsh words. Your undestanding of marriage and married life is skewed. Love has nothing to do with harsh realities of life. I am 54, male and married at that. I should know. Romanticism of marriage is short lived. Dont try to stretch it's life artificially.

I do not want to discourage you. I just wanted you to understand the true meanings of life. You seem intelligent girl but with misplaced priorities. You are bound to fail in your endevours. But you have capacity to come out of it. Make decisions. Best luck.
    Please be calm.
it is my humble suggestion that marriages are made in Heaven therefore it should be preserved at all costs. generally women are more tolerant than men. however, men also become tolerable and understanding once they become father and burdened with the responsibility of upbringing of child. in your case, u have 2 b more tolerant and give him moral and physical support to get over the toughest period of life. once u r settled in life, everything will b smooth. i have undergone the same situation as yours. nowadays i regret that i could not give more love and affection to my wife at the initial days of marriage. i sincerely hope that one day ur hubby will also have the same feeling and double his love and affection towards u. in the meanwhile, the initial 4-5 years will be hard and demanding time. try to get best out of this. remain calm.
    you have choosen him

you have married him (run away)

you have to handle him (jhelo ab)
maybe his pride is a little hurt. things will get better when you get your own place

I'm sure he loves his family why is that wrong

Does anyone here actually believe this is where to come for advice on how to live your life?

You can ask for advice, that doesn't mean you have to take it. It's noce being able to get a response from someone who doesn't know you and who have nothing to gain by the way you solve your problem. Asking friends and family, that's a different story.Does anyone here actually believe this is where to come for advice on how to live your life?
no. but its good to come on here and ask a question if you're curious about something, to get other people's opinions.Does anyone here actually believe this is where to come for advice on how to live your life?
No. However if you have already bored all the real people in your real life with your whining about your problems it is nice to be able to ask the same questions of a bottomless pool of strangers who haven't heard them before.
You may never know who is sitting on the other side giving some of the answers.
Yes! There are some sensible people with sensible answers and then there's the assholes that don't know what to say and just say ****...
No but it is fun to ask and answer questions on here.
    Sure!
    yes
Absolutely... I followed the advice of one responder and I saved $500.00 on my car insurance!

That was a line from a commercial, by the way.
Well it only depends why you're here...Mostly people do it as a pastime..Some questions are taken more seriously than others but for the most part its nice knowing that you're not the only person out there who has problems..
I'm sure there is some uneducated, trailer trash living, no toothed homer in the back woods of Mississippi that believes it!
NO! but it sure entertaining to see what other people think..
no but it gives you options don't you think
This is not a place with rules or suggestions set in stone. Readers offer advice because of life experience, and should be used only as a tool or a way to measure different viewpoints and opinions.
This is where people come in hopes someone will agree with a decison they have already made.
    Sadly, yes some do.

We have to only hope that these people do not vote.
Who knows, but it's always good to hear what other people think. And you never know, it just may work!
No, but it is fun reading about other people's problems. Some may or may not be legitimate. So here I am, reading and responding. Too much time on my hands I suppose. Good luck with that.
I don't know about that sometimes. I do see some good advice for the most part but then there are those that forever think they need to be the class clown. I mostly come here for the laughs. And I do get quite a bit of those....lol
Believe it or not, although there are some a** h**** here giving stupid answers, there are some excellent advice from some really good people too. Try looking at some of the resolved questions and see the various answers..
I enter this site because I enjoy reading the questions; some of them are very funny.

However, when I come across a question that seems to be genuine and sincere, and if I have any experience with the problem, I try to answer as best as I can.

No, I don't think any of us believe this will give us the complete answers to our problems but if we can help just a little bit then what's the harm?

    D
i think some people take this a little to far- and way to serious sometimes.I come here for answers to small problems that I can't seem to cure on my own,but nothing heavy or life altering.I think that some people are just desperately reaching out fo help from anyone, and hoping for people who've been through what they are going through.A type of camaraderie,if you will.In a way it's sad that all some people have to turn to is a computer instead of friends or family. Also -some are just looking for tips, hints ,suggestions and ideas for problems maybe they had never thought of before.A fresh and differant perspective..
Nope i just like to see every ones opinion
I think people see it more as a place to come that willl give you some new perspectives on how to live your life. I think it can help to have some objective responses from people who don't know you, instead of your friends and family who may have their own agendas in giving you advice. Most of the answers people give here are garbage, but some are really pretty thoughtful, as well as practical.

I got some good information about credit ratings by asking a question, and it helped me with some financial issues I was thinking about. The person who responded was a banker, so he knew his stuff.
    LOL!

    Heck NO!

I come here for entertainment while I work my day job (Executive's Assistant)................
